One increasingly difficult aspect of my job this year is finding a balance between work and the rest of my life. One thing that I have found extremely helpful in finding extra minutes each day is extensive meal planning on the weekend.
Each weekend, I sit down and plan out all of my meals for the week and make them on Sunday afternoon. While the meals during the week sometimes begin to feel monotonous, it allows me more “free” time when I get home from work to try to fit in other aspects of my life.
I am hoping that by making my meal planning journey public, that I will be able to grow creatively in how I meal plan to continue to conserve time but also not leave me bored at every meal. I also hope that you can use the tips I find in your own busy lives!
My goals are to:
- Share recipes that are quick and healthy
- Find different ways to use the same ingredients all week
- Re-purposing leftovers
- AND cute ways to pack your lunches 🙂
